Great Case, but Could Be Better

I would rate this 28" Tactical SBR case 5 Stars if not for a few niggling details on what could be done better. First, the good stuff: extremely well-constructed and out of 1680 denier fabric, as opposed to the usual 600 or even 1000D used in most cases - it's tough and abrasion resistant in the extreme. Large, dual action paired zippers keep the case securely closed. Heavy duty grab handle with velcro wrap. Ample zippered front pouches (3 - two narrow on either side of a wide center pouch) with robust zippers. The center pouch has mesh dividers in the interior for mags, cleaning gear, etc. - very spacious. Ample velcro loop pile on the outside of the center pouch for morale patches. Padded slant pouches on either end of the main compartment to secure the muzzle and end of the SBR. Downsides (again, minor, but enough to keep me from rating it 5 stars): There are two click-type buckle straps on either side of the grab handle; while adding extra closure security when the case is closed, these are essentially superfluous given the robust main zippers and the grab handle acting as a closure device when the velcro flap is closed. These straps just get in the way and I am considering just cutting them off. Most importantly, the two velcro straps in the interior used to secure the SBR don't really do a good job of immobilizing the weapon - they are loose enough to allow the weapon to slide up and down in the case. A better system would be to line one side of the interior case with velcro pile and provide several straps each with a velcro hook base; these could be tailored precisely to the weapon and when mated with the velcro loop interior would securely hold the SBR in place with no shifting in any direction. This system would also allow the addition of velcro hook-backed pouches inside the case for optics, batteries, etc.
All of the above considered, this is one of the best, if not THE best short tactical cases out there. Even with the minor flaws mentioned above, I would buy it again and recommend it to other SBR owners.

Fits my SMG perfectly, and added bonus of Sub2000 fitting in outside pocket

I was looking for a bag to carry my SMG, and discovered that not only does this bag fit it perfectly, but the outside pocket is exactly the right size for my Sub2000. I can now carry them both in one bag.
