GARY ELLIOTT'S REVIEW OF THE MARKSMAN GUN CASE

Marksman Series RealTree Gun Case

Marksman Realtree Gun Case

Our field tester Ken says it is a good sized, well-proportioned case and should handle any long gun up to 52".

Made of a durable polyester material and a very durable and well-designed ribbed PVC bottom provide for years of sliding in and out of a vehicle or ATV. The handle is incorporated into the case making it stronger, more durable than just a couple of floppy straps and making it much easier to pick up. The Realtree Edge is a nice touch and seems to be water resistant. A full-length main zipper with double pulls makes it nice to lay the case out flat. Large loops on the zippers makes it easy to open and close with gloves on. Heavy duty foam padding along with a soft fleece help protect from bumps and scratching. Keeping the finish on your rifle or shotgun looking nice for years to come.

One large outer 24" x 6" storage pocket with zipper.  Two inside pockets, one is 18" x 4", the other is 13" x 3".  Inside pockets are located so as not to interfere with any part of the cased firearm.  Pockets well designed for storage of accessories such as boxes of ammunition, slings, etc.  All pockets are lined with the same fleece material used for the inside of the case.

Overall, I got the idea Ken really enjoys using the case and expects many years of protection for his favorite rifles and shotguns. Couple of Ken’s favorite features is the integrated carry handle for easier grip, and the expected durability as I hunt in some cold, wet weather. The case is available on their website at $59.99.
